Long time Kakari lover

I’ve been wearing the adidas kakari line for almost the last ten years and these are another solid addition to the Kakari lineage.

A little tighter through the forefoot than Kakari X Kevlar which will require to size up (half a size or a full size) but the leather is of a good quality and provides good protection around the top of the foot.

Lockdown is not as good as previous models due to not having the ankle collar (a feature I wish they would bring back) but this could be a sizing issue too or corrected by wearing grip socks.

Elite model is much better priced than the RS model and seems to be essentially the same apart from some different materials around the collar.

Eye catching colour is good for us that like to bring a little bit of spice to the front row and hopefully adidas are starting to brighten up the Kakari line colour wise! (Hope they bring back the white/gold and white/silver colour way that they had in 2017/18) for the next model.

Only issue I had is that the picture shown here has the boots with a blue and silver sole plate but the pair that was delivered to me had a fully white sole plate.

All in all, a solid front row boot that will only get comfier in time and will hopefully last a whole season.
