What is the Autumn Nations Series and When is it Kicking Off?

The Autumn Nations Series is a collection of international rugby union matches played by Northern Hemisphere nations against visiting teams from the Southern Hemisphere and other emerging nations. It's a chance for teams to test their mettle against the best. The action takes place over five weeks in November 2025.

Who is Playing Who?

With twenty two tests being played across the five weeks there are plenty of match ups  to look forward to, including the All Blacks going for a Grand Slam (victories against England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland) for the first time since 2010! Here are some of the key match-ups:

Week 1: Saturday 1st November

  • England vs Australia: A blockbuster opener to the Autumn Nations Series kicks off at 3:10 pm at Allianz Twickenham Stadium in London. England will be seeking revenge following the Wallabies' last-minute win at Twickenham in 2024.
  • Ireland vs New Zealand: A guaranteed classic kicks off at 8:10 pm GMT! Ireland and the All Blacks return to Soldier Field in Chicago, the same ground where Ireland secured their historic first win over the New Zealanders in 2016.

Week 2: Saturday 8th November - Sunday 9th November

  • Scotland vs New Zealand: The All Blacks face Scotland at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, kicking off at 3:10 pm GMT on 8th November. Can the Scots record their first-ever win against the All Blacks?
  • France vs South Africa: The first meeting of these two sides since their epic 2023 Rugby World Cup quarter-final. With both teams currently in excellent form, can France gain revenge? Kick-off is at 8:10 pm GMT. Venue to be announced.
